License Renewal/Registration Check-off Program

Victory Living Programs, a local affiliated chapter of The Arc of Florida provides quality services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  As the state economy has suffered, so has funding to provide much needed services to these individuals.

The 2010 Legislature passed language which allowed The Arc of Florida to be added as a charity to receive designated donations on Driver’s License Renewals and Vehicle Registration Forms.  These donations are simply made at the time of renewal by checking off, “The Arc of Florida” on the forms and adding a least a dollar or more to the payment of the fees.  License renewals can be completed on-line and the donation to The Arc of Florida can be made on-line also.

What Are the Donations Used For?
Seventy five percent of the donations received by The Arc of Florida are returned back to the local chapters of The Arc of Florida for direct services to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.  Victory Living Programs is the only affiliate of The Arc of Florida in Broward County. As such, we receive the full seventy-five percent of the donations made in Broward County. The remaining twenty five percent of the donation is used by the Arc of Florida to assist in providing access to training opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their family or the staff members who work with them.
