Staff Member Spotlight: Sheila Pollock

Sheila Pollock, Victory Living Programs' newest Adult Day Training/Community Inclusion (ADT) Program staff member, is a special populations expert. A Brooklyn native, Sheila's love and work with special populations began in 1972 when she began working as a Private School Teacher. Then in 1974, she moved to Florida and started working for the School Board of Broward County as a Teacher’s Assistant; she also worked at Lucanus Developmental Center for 6 years as a Leader Instructor. All of Sheila’s jobs have one thing in common - they all center on helping individuals with disabilities become more independent through learning.

When asked about now working as an ADT staff member with Victory Living Programs, Shelia says she truly enjoys facilitating cooking classes, social skills projects, and sports games. In short, Shelia summarizes the love for her work with one statement, “the clients make me whole.” When Shelia isn’t working she loves to play with her grandchildren and volunteer with Special Olympics. Welcome to the Victory Living family, Shelia. Your passion for the work we do is inspiring to all!
