Client Spotlight: Scott Weiner

Victory Living Programs is beyond excited to feature one special individual, Scott Weiner! For the past three and a half years, Scott has been a part of Victory Living’s Supported Living Program. Scott, for several years, worked two part-time jobs, one as a night-time stock person at Walmart and one at Home Depot. Recently, he joined Home Depot as a full-time employee.

Ever since Scott joined the Victory Living family, he’s learned the importance of independence, the value of employment, and has developed a keen sense of style! Additionally, because of Victory Living’s Supported Living Program, Scott now understands the value of money, and has significantly improved his financial skills and is learning how to budget his money properly.

“When Scott first joined the Supported Living Program, we both discussed his goals for the future. As he accomplishes these goals, he continues to add to them; he is making better decisions, is more organized, plans and budgets, and wants to continue learning,” said Debbie Toombs, In-Home Support Staff at Victory Living. “It’s been so nice to see Scott become more outgoing and confident!”

In his spare time, you can catch Scott playing his guitar with his own original songs! He also enjoys caring for his aquarium and loves going out and participating in fun activities with the guys from Victory Living.

In the future, Scott hopes to own his own apartment and aspires to own a small online business that sells aquarium supplies.

We are so glad to have someone as special as you as part of the Victory Living family, Scott! We wish you so much luck in your future endeavors and will surely be looking out for your aquarium site!
