Client Spotlight: Maxwell Gordon

For this month’s client spotlight, Victory Living Programs is highlighting one smart and talented individual, Maxwell Gordon! Since September 2018, Max has been with Victory Living Programs’ Supported Living Program, where he lives on his own and tackles all the responsibilities of independence. Max has and continues to develop his skills in the areas of cooking, cleaning, laundry, and organization. Admittedly, he continues to need work on these areas. Max also works for the historic CIRC Hotel, as a “back-of-the-house” staff person.

Since joining the Victory Living family, Max has learned the importance of independence, the value of employment and responsibility, and has opened up to make wonderful friends.

“I think that Max’s social skills have improved since joining Victory Living Programs,” said Bobbi Wigand, Executive Director of Victory Living Programs. “He has formed friendships, learned to trust others, and has become more understanding to everybody’s unique abilities.”

In his spare time, you can catch Max singing his favorite Elton John or Queen tunes, watching Game of Thrones, participating in all things social, and making new friends.

In the future, Max hopes to grow within the hospitality industry, and would love to continue learning how to live, work, and play more independently within Victory Living Programs.

We are so glad to have someone as intelligent and friendly as you, Max! We wish you so much luck in your future endeavors.
